T Squared

As many of us enjoy this beautiful day off from work, let us not remember the reason we have the right to celebrate.  Memorial Day - a day to honor those who have fallen to give us the freedoms we take for granted.  I have family that has served and I know of people that have given the ultimate sacrifice.  We get to have freedom because of the brave.  I am so thankful.

What's a freedom that you are thankful for?  I am thankful for my freedom to be able to write.

Today, we (yes, you know you are included) celebrate #ThePlusDiaries as we enter the terrible twos.  Yep, #ThePlusDiaries turn 2 today and I am so excited.  Terrible twos?  Now, I am a little bit more optimistic, but what can we do to make this year so interesting?

I think we can take some chances with this blog.  I did a feature a few weeks ago and absolutely loved doing that.  So, maybe, just maybe I can do a few more of those.  In fact, I have an idea so that might can even happen this week.  Hmmmmm.....this could be the…

Rocking the white - Leslie style!

I think the post I am getting ready to do tonight is a first for me!  I have had the pleasure of interviewing celebs and posting those on other sites, but I have never featured anyone in my personal blog on this page.  Now, this lady I am featuring tonight is not a celebrity, but I truly think she should be.  This was my first time meeting her and she has an absolute sweet spirit and her awesome style is second to none.

Well, can't really segway out of that so I'll just continue.  Saturday, a wonderful friend of mine h…

The shaming meals

I'm in one of my semi-hostile moods right now.  Not because someone in particular has done anything to me, but I feel some type of way on behalf of my other plus beauties.  I don't know what it is lately or maybe I am just paying closer attention, but the body shaming has been really bad here recently and I've also heard some negative things about how we eat.

Let's start with this body shaming thing - sit down and shut up!!!  We were not all created to look alike, whether it be big or small.  Admit it, you would get bored if you saw the same body type all day every single day.  Even the married men I work with will tell you I'm married, not blind.  I love working around men because they are so honest and they also think I'm not listening.  One of them is a boob man, one is an ass man, one said he cannot stand females without meat on their bones, and the other ones try to be so secretive that I have to play detective to get stuff out of them.  However, I love b…
