Will I Be My Valentine?

I am fully aware that Valentine's Day was last week, but I am so excited for this post!  It was definitely a great few days of fun.  Since I like a bit of order, I will go in order for the activities that I participated in.  And just fyi, this could be a long post, so please stick with me...even if you have to read it in more than one sitting. Wednesday - February 13 I'm going to go ahead and admit that I was on the fence about going to this event on this night.  It wasn't the event, it was the night.  I look forward to going to church on Wednesday nights and I hate missing it.  However, I am so happy that I decided that I went to dinner.  Let me tell you what happens when you put together a group of people who don't know each other, but all have a connection to the person who invited them - GREAT THINGS!!!  The networking that ended up taking place was epic and it was so great to see such a large group of people eating, having a few drinks, and laughing.  It was s

The Year Of Ta(ME)ika

Each year, I start off with a time of focus.  I get home from work around 430ish and my TV stays off until 8pm.  I may not even turn it on then.  The only thing I'll see for sure is my Thursday night shows.  It's just one part of my self care.  But I've added other aspects this year and I love it!  Nothing After 9 Unless you are one of the two people who went half to create me, I'm not responding to you after 9pm (8pm on Thursdays).  If I work out and I go for longer than expected, I'll talk to you the next day...or it's possible you will have to wait until I'm in the right head space.  Oh, and if you see me on social media, that is me still having some time to myself.  I've actually had people call or text and then be like but you're on social media.  What I really wanted to say was and?!  But instead, I actually responded.  I shouldn't have done that because it blurred a pretty solid boundary, but this year will be different.  Plus, YES, I&
